Merry Christmas!

We had a pretty good week last week, we got a lot of Christmas shopping done (Wes helped mommy pick out presents for people). Then over the weekend we got almost all of the presents wrapped, YAY!

Friday night, mommy, daddy and Wes went out for their first dinner, just the three of them. Wes was pretty good, since it was during his fussy time, it's to be expected that he got a little fussy toward the end, overall it went pretty well.

Over the last week, Wes has decided that he really likes chewing on his hand so we got a cute video of that. Also, on December 22nd (so that mommy can remember what day it was), he sucked his thumb for the first time, daddy and Tyler just happened to be home and we all caught it on video.

We also have several cute photos of Wes and mommy and daddy when we went out to dinner. On the weekend, Wes likes to come into mommy and daddy's bed and occasionally falls back asleep so we have some photos of that and last but not least, Wes went to his first Christmas party on December 22nd so we got some photos of him and his girlfriend Lucy, I am going to post those on our shutterfly site so that everyone can see all of them.

Since we probably won't get around to posting again before Christmas, we hope that everyone has a safe and awesome Christmas!

bored and waiting for Wes to wake up

So my cousin's wife, Sarah posted this on her blog and seeing as I'm kinda bored right now and waiting for Wes to wake up so that I can feed him and go to bed... I'm not just going to bed because I know as soon as I do, he'll wake up so I figured I might as well surf the internet.

Okay, here it goes...

3) Explain the picture
4) Tag 4 people to do the same NO CHEATING! (cropping, editing, etc!)

This picture was taken on or around December 4th, 2008. I'm sure that I was probably just trying to get things done around the house and noticed how cute he looked in his swing so I grabbed the camera and took a picture. You have to admit, he's the cutest little boy, ever, right? LOL I know that some of my friends that have little boys might disagree with me on that but I'm biased!

Our week...

Well Wes is 12 weeks old today, it's hard to believe, he technically isn't 3 months old until the 18th but I'm going by weeks at this point. I'm not sure how all of that works.


So we've had a pretty decent week, we went to visit g-ma Ruby at her work and show off her adorable grandson. Everyone loved him and couldn't stop talking about how cute he is and what a good baby he is. He must have been upset to leave because he cried on the way home. I was a bit disappointed to, to learn that my own mother has taken down all of the pictures of me and the only thing that is now on her desk are pictures of her grandson, her boyfriend and her sister. I see where I fit in now. Thanks, mom! Don't forget that Christmas is just around the corner!

Anyway, Bella seems to be Wes' new best friend so I had to post some really cute pictures of them together, they love to cuddle together in the evening. I have no makeup on, don't I look gorgeous? NOT!I

Then, last but not least, he is definitely a morning boy, he is awake in the morning and loves talking and smiling so I decided to take a little video of it. Sorry for some of the bumpyness of it, it's kinda hard to play with your child and hold the camera at the same time. The first one is a little long but I was trying to get him smiling and cooing and all of that good stuff.

This second video is him talking alot and having the hiccups, it was right after I did the other one, he started talking a bunch so I had to get it on camera too.

Oh and I forgot these, he looked so cute napping in his crib so I had to take pictures (it's a good thing he's used to the paparrazi living in our house, LOL).

Happy Monday

Well not really for those of you working and this weather sucks but hey, it was a nice thought, right? Is anyone else kinda stressing about the holidays coming up so quickly? We just got our tree put up over the weekend so I'm glad I got that done, yeah, it wasn't even a family thing, Brad sat and played video games and Wes was asleep. But the reason that I'm stressed is because I feel like I haven't bought many things yet and my Aunt won't give me any ideas for her so I have no idea what to get her and shopping with a newborn this year is just kinda difficult. I'm anal in the fact that if I'm going to order stuff from one place, I'd like to order it all at once so I'm still waiting for Brad to get some ideas from his family for the kids. I'm sure I'll get it all figured out and I'm just babbling on here so I can get it out of my system. LOL

I added a little video of Wes, him sucking his imaginary pacifier, I just think it's so adorable. I'm going to eventually add some older videos of him too now that I know how to do this. I have some videos of him right after he was born that are just so cute. That's about it for now, glad you could all read my vent. :) Have a great week!

Well I finally decided to update this...

Since everyone else has a blog, I figure that Wesley might as well have one too, 11 weeks old today and he already has 2 websites, LOL. Anyway, I have some little videos of him that I know I can't share on my shutterfly website so I thought that maybe I'll be able to add them on here.
