Went to see Dr. Harper today

Well Wes just hasn't really been himself this week. He has woken up twice in the middle of the night and not wanting to go back to sleep when he actually is usually really good, if he does wake up, he will normally just take his pacifier and go right back to sleep. He has just been kinda crabby, happy one minute and sad the next, I was beginning to think he had some kind of personality disorder, LOL. So this morning when he woke up, he wasn't eating much and then went back to sleep and had only had 4 ounces by 1PM which just isn't like him. He's normally a little piggy.

So I called the Doctors office, they have a nurse triage line where I can call in and talk to someone at anytime during business hours which is SO nice! I told the nurse what has been going on and she said it sounded like he might have an ear infection so I brought him in. The Dr. checked him out and said his lungs and ears looked great and it definitely wasn't an ear infection. At the time, Wes had been stripped down to his diaper to be weighed, 13 lbs! Anyway, he was drooling all over himself and the Dr. said "yep, he's definitely teething".

Also, Dr. Harper said "he is such a cute baby" and I said awe, you probably say that to all the babies and he said "no, I don't, just don't tell everyone else that". I thought that was so sweet! I love our Dr.
