I hope that everyone had an awesome Christmas and great New Year! We did, we my family over on Christmas Eve which was very nice, we had lots of good food and a fun time celebrating. Wes slept thru most of it though so mommy and daddy got to open extra presents! YAY! Sean got a really fun shirt from his mom that had a photo of her on it and it said "I love my mom" or something like that, it was pretty funny. Brad and Sean had the same Colts shirts so we had to get a photo of that too.
On Christmas eve night, we went to the Arnolds to celebrate Christmas which was a lot of fun too and more yummy food. We didn't get out the camera though, mommy was busy taking care of Wes and I think Brad was too busy handing out presents but everyone had a good time, especially Tyler, Mychel, Jack and Wyatt who always run around like mad when they all get together, and just think, soon Wes will be able to join them! Oh my!
Christmas day, grandma Ruby came over to celebrate Christmas with us, Grandma Bonnie had so kindly given us some gravy, bacon and sausage so that we could have our traditional biscuits and gravy although I was told that next year, she's not gonna make it for us and my gravy just isn't the same so that's going to be hard for us next year (well this year)! We all opened our presents and then we played the Cash Cab game at least 4 or 5 times which was a lot of fun.
A few days later, we had Steve and Kathryn over to watch the Colts game, grandma Ruby and Alan were there too but I guess we didn't get any photos of them. I made my chicken tamale casserole which everyone loved! I thought I would have leftovers but nope! Later the boys had fun playing some Wii boxing but unfortunately I didn't get any fun candid shots of that! This week, we had them over for the Colts game again but this time, the turnout wasn't so good so these will be the last photos of Wes in his Colts attire until next season (and hopefully it won't be the same outfits since they'll be a little small!).
We had a pretty uneventful New Years Eve and I didn't even seem to get any photos of Wes that day. Wes was a little fussy so we stayed in and grilled some steaks and had a nice dinner at home. Mommy and Daddy watched the ball drop and kissed at midnight and then Daddy felt the need to wake up Wes and wish him a Happy New Year, he was awake for about an hour after that so mommy made daddy promise he won't do that anytime soon.
Lately Wes has been lots of fun, he is talking way more which is funny to hear some of the sounds that come out of his mouth. He has also been finding his thumb more and more often which I'm hoping he doesn't turn into a thumb sucker because I know that Sean and Sarah are having a rough time breaking Caeleigh of that!
Oh and I guess I might as well post my New Years resolution so that everyone can hold me to it although I'm sure everyone knows that it would be to lose this baby weight! Although honestly I have no idea what I weigh since I don't own a scale and I haven't weighed myself since Thanksgiving.

Yay we have the same resolution :) How's yours going? I ate chocolate chip cookies for breakfast...that's how mine is going. :\ hahaha. It does make me sad that she's getting so big but every stage is new and fun. Sometimes though I just look at her and feel like crying, the time flies!!
