Wes army crawling
Well I had a better video that was longer and showed him moving further but it was taking forever to load so I had to retake the video to do something shorter! He is a mover, watch out now!

just a quick video of Wes attempting to crawl
He really is getting around too, he kind of army crawls and does like a one arm crawl to the side and can move pretty quick. He also moves backward somehow but I'm not quite sure how he's doing that.

What is going on with Wes???
As for my question with what is going on with Wes, on Friday, he woke up all snotty with a runny nose, coughing a little. He had a fever of 100 that evening but hasn't had a fever since. He just has not seemed himself, he's not taking his naps like he normally does... still taking naps but really fighting it, also been fighting falling asleep at night which just isn't like him. I don't know if it's because he's sick, if it's allergies, if he's teething, if it's a growth spurt or developmental with him trying to crawl. I know, who knows, babies are unpredictable but it drives me crazy.
Oh well, enough of that, on to the photos. I am not very good at getting the text inserted where the pictures are so you can pretty much see what they are but there is is one that I threw in that cracks me up. Wes is just over 7 months and this onesie that he is wearing in one photo is a NEWBORN size, how in the world can that be? He also has one that is 0-3 months size that still fits him as well! I just had to post because I'd hate to be the mom that had a newborn big enough to fit into this onesie!
We got a new baby swing for our playset out back and as you can see, Wes loves it!!!

Wes sitting
I don't really have a lot of time to write because Brad is at some dinner for work and I need to put Wes to bed but I got a really good video of him sitting for a while. I thought he was only sitting for about 30-45 seconds or so before he would fall over but this video is a minute and a half so I just have to say good job, Wes! I also have lots of new photos to post that I'll do later.

Just some funny photos
4/15- Well first, I wanted to thank everyone for their tips on getting Wes to sleep through the night. I bought a breathable bumper and Brad put it on the other night (saying nasty words the whole time), then I finally took away Wes' sleep positioner, I know, it took me a while but he slept through the night that night! YAY! I'm hoping it wasn't a fluke but he slept through the night again last night too. Yesterday morning when I went in to check on him, he was laying on his tummy and this morning, he was already awake but he had turned himself around completely and was playing with the little musical acquarium on the bottom end of his crib.
So here are some funny photos, and a photo of his crib with the breathable bumper. He fell asleep in his exersaucer the other day... He isn't crawling but he loves to roll around and scoot on his belly and scooted himself under the table... He will not lay still for diaper changes anymore, he is constantly rolling over to his belly so I'm going to embarass him with this one later in life!

Hope everyone had an awesome Easter
We had such a great Easter weekend, Brad took off work on Friday to help me clean the house and it was so nice because there's no way I could have gotten everything done so Thank you Brad!
Wes hasn't really been fussy lately but he has started waking up in the middle of the night and I'm at a loss, the only thing I can hope is that he's going to get a tooth soon! I have tried to see if there might be something different going on during the day that might be causing him to wake up at night but I really don't think so, he's still been taking the same naps, eating about the same, etc. so who knows. I don't see any white on his gums and it's hard telling if his gums are swollen. He is constantly chewing on something, has a little bit of diaper rash and spitting up a little bit more than usual which I have read can be teething signs. If anyone has any suggestions to get him back to sleeping thru the night, I'd appreciate it!
Anyway, Saturday we had over my aunt Debby and her husband, Brian, my mom, my uncle Dan and his wife Cindy and Cindy's daughter, Kristen and her husband Joey and their son Alex who is about a month and a half younger than Wes. Debby had made quilts for both of the boys but unfortunately when Brad took the picture, he didn't really get any good pictures of the quilts so I will have to take a photo with Wes and his quilt sometime. We all had a great time so thank you all for coming!
Sunday, we had over Brad's parents, Tyler, my mom and Alan, Aunt Shirley and grandma and had lots of yummy food and fun as usual. Thanks to everyone for coming over, now I have to go workout to work off all the food I ate this weekend! :)

Wes and his "other" girlfriend
Uncle Mike and Aunt Katie came over to our house that night for a few minutes to give Wes his adorable lamb chop that is like what mommy had when she was little. We will still have to get some photos of him with her but she is adorable! She's about as big as he is right now! :)
